They Year 9 & 10 Rounders Teams make a clean sweep at the MESSSA Rounders Champions...
On 14 May, Year 9 & 10 attended the Annual Mid Essex Rounders Tournament at St John Payne School. The Year 9 team had a close and nerve-racking final against William De Ferrers School, winning 5½ to 4½ rounders. Ella Dziewulski and Rebecca Day were high scorers throughout the tournament. The Year 10 team won the final against the Plume School by a clear two rounders. Camille Hamilton played particularly well, scoring a large proportion of the rounders during the tournament. The following people took part: Harriet Fenton, Rebecca Hallahan, Camille Hamilton-Villemur, Danielle Hitchins, Sophie Hunter, Heather Porter, Katie Roberts, Coralie Smart, Annabel Schwier, Jennifer Spindler, and Molly Tappin (Year 10); Katie Crawley, Rebecca Day, Leticia Delage Estevez, Ella Dziewulski, Ellie Grainger, Megan James, Phoebe Last, Camilla Loomes, Anna Musto, Harriet Speakman and Clara Spicer (Year 9).
