Year 10 Mid Essex Swimming Champions

Congratulations to the following girls who won the Mid Essex swimming gala on 23rd January: Harriet Fenton, Annabel Schweir, Halina Fisher, Katie Roberts, Gemma Girvan. This is one of the biggest gala’s of the year, over 12 schools took part altogether.
In the freestyle relay the year 10’s won by over 15 metres. In the medley relay they narrowly missed out on first place. The final results left New Hall with joint first position with Chelmsford County High School. This is the second year in a row that New Hall have been the champions.
The year 12 girls (Jess Tappin, Tribly Cook, Alex Fisher and Claudia Sidoli) swam with a determined attitude and managed to finish second overall in the competition to Brentwood School.

The final results left us joint first overall. So far in the swimming league we have won every gala. We have three more gala’s left in the league against William De Ferrers, Shenfield and Boswells.
