Congratulations to Joseph Clark and Thomas Styles, both Year 8, who have been crowned the National Independent Schools Tennis Association Champions at the finals held at Eton College on Tuesday, 1 July.
On route to the Semi Finals New Hall beat St Georges (Weybridge) Dulwich College, Reigate and Warwick.
New Hall then competed against Reed’s School (Cobham) in the Semi finals who are arguably the strongest tennis school in the country. New Hall performed magnificently and defeated the Reed’s Pair 6-3.
New Hall then had to face Yarm who are one of the leading independent schools in the North East. The final was very close but the New Hall pair won through in the final after a tie break decider 7-6.
