National Tennis Association Champions

Congratulations to Joseph Clark and Thomas Styles, both Year 8, who have been crowned the National Independent Schools Tennis Association Champions at the finals held at Eton College on Tuesday, 1 July.

Young Chef Finalists

Congratulations to Phoebe Fardell and Max Curwen-Bingley, both Year 7, who have reached the finals of the Essex Chronicle "Young Chef of the Year".

Inauguration of the Chapel Organ

The weekend of 14/15 June was a feast of music, celebrating the opening of the newly restored Chapel Organ with The Rt Rev Bishop Thomas McMahon and Organist Dame Gillian Weir.

New Hall girls win the Mid-Essex Swimming League

New Hall girls rounded off an excellent year for swimming as they were crowned winners of the Year 7 Mid-Essex swimming league.

Sailing Success

Congratulations to Owen House Captain, Natalya Eyre, Year 12, who came 3rd in the Pico National Sailing Competition on Saturday, 21 June 2008. This is a tremendous achievement and we hope to hear more of Natalya’s sailing successes in the future.

Multi Sport Camp

New Hall Multi Sports Camp is a 3-day course from Tuesday, 26 - Thursday, 28 August 2008. The camp offers boys and girls in Years 5, 6 and 7 a chance to enjoy a range of sports and develop their skills under the guidance of New Hall’s Physical Education and Sports teachers. Clarinet Masterclass

We are delighted to welcome to New Hall Michael Whight, Principal Clarinet with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, to lead a Clarinet Masterclass. The Masterclass will take place on Sunday, 14 September 2008 and is open to clarinet students age 8-13. Players should ideally be of at least Grade II standard.
